Athletes from our University were successful in the Students Polish Championships in Climbing. Jędrzej Kowal from the Faculty of Civil Engineering has won two first places.
The championships were held on 5-6 April in Lublin. On the first day, the “difficulty” competition was organized, while on the other day, the “time” competition took place. The sum of the results from the two days made up the team result. Jędrzej Kowal from the Wrocław University of Technology Faculty of Civil Engineering proved the best both in the general classification and in the category of technical universities in the “difficulty” competition. He also took second place in the “time” competition in the category of technical universities.
Among women representing technical universities, Zuzanna Banaś from the Wrocław University of Technology Faculty of Mechanical Engineering turned out the best, while in the overall classification she took fourth place.
In the team classification, our sportsmen won second place among technical universities and third place overall. Our women representation took third place in the classification of technical universities.
