Red carpet, impressive decorations, and a chocolate fountain. Wrocław University of Technology will close the carnival in the style of the 1920s. On Friday, 28th February, the Students Culture Zone will turn into a ballroom like those seen in Hollywood productions. “We wanted this event to be elegant and solemn.” – says Radosław Czahajda from the Committee for Culture of the Wrocław University of Technology Student Government. “We count on our students to join the fun and come dressed in the 1920s style.” – adds Zuzanna Hazubska, President of the Student Government. The programme of the event includes many attractions. A saxophonist will play along with the DJ, there will also be a photo-wall, artistic shows, and competitions. “We are planning to carry out the project ‘Wrocław University of Technology the most dance-loving university in the world’. We will all perform the Charleston dance and film it.” – announces Czahajda. The party will last until morning. “It is a great opportunity to cool down after the exam session and develop a positive attitude for the next semester.” – encourage the organizers. The ball is addressed to all Wrocław University of Technology students with their partners. The admittance fee is 30 PLN. It will be possible to sign up for the party from 19th February at 8:00 PM.
