On Thursday, in the A-1 building main hall, it will be possible to have your sight examined and even to get a prescription for glasses if required. The examinations will be carried out by students from the “Visus” scientific circle The examinations are free and open for everybody, regardless of whether you are our student or employee, or not. There will be about 10 stands in the hall and the examinations will be carried out between 10 AM and 3 PM. You don’t have to sign up for the examinations but you have to be aware that each of them may take a while and there will be queues to some of them. The students will examine you e.g. with a lensmeter and an automatic refractometer (a device to examine vision acuity), as well as measure the intraocular pressure, colour recognition, and binocular vision. “These are the basic screening tests.” – explains Michał Kowal from the “Visus” scientific circle – “They will allow you to check if everything is alright with your sight.” lucy Translation: Dariusz Więcławski
