Common scientific and research projects, academic staff and student exchanges, double diploma programme – declaration on co-operation in these areas was signed on Tuesday in Opole by Prof. Taduesz Więckowski, President of KRPUT (Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities) and Prof. Joaquim Mourato, President of CCISP (Portuguese Polytechnics Coordinating Council).
Since Sunday, 13th October the International Academic Forum of KRPUT and CCISP has been held at Opole University of Technology. Its role is to contribute to the intensification of Polish-Portuguese academic co-operation: increasing the number of academic staff and student exchanges, raising the number of common scientific and research projects, common study programmes, exchange of experiences related to the differences between academic markets in the two countries, as well as setting new prospects and trends in the field of technical education in Poland and Portugal.
