The scientist from the Italian University of Pisa will deliver two open lectures for employees, students, and doctoral students.
Prof. Pagano’s research interests are related to statistical characterization of traffic flows and to network performance analysis, as well as statistical traffic classification, network security issues, and Green Networking.
The first lecture entitled “A critical overview on traffic modelling and performance evaluation” will take place on Monday, 22nd September, at 9:30 AM in the conference room of the Las hotel in Szklarska Poręba. The second lecture entitled “Self-similarity, Long Range Dependence and Heavy Tails” will be organized on Thursday, 25th September, at 1:00 PM at the Wrocław University of Technology B-4 building (Wrocław, 3/5 Ignacego Łukasiewicza St., room 409).
The Wrocław University of Technology Institute of Computer Science is the organizer of the meeting.
