Paweł Nużka and Jan Szajda, this year’s
graduates of Wrocław University of Technology are already in China. The
laureates of the “Telecom Seeds for the Future” competition organized by the
Huawei corporation with headquarters in Shenzhen, are participating in
technology workshops dedicated to innovative solutions on the ICT market.
The
laureates are graduates of the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology.
For the competition, they prepared a paper on computer security and
cryptography. Paweł Nużka presented an innovative authentication technique with
the use of mobile devices, while Jan Szajda is the author of the concept of a
cryptographic scheme for carrying out secret electronic voting. Their projects
were supervised by Prof. Mirosław Kutyłowski and Łukasz Krzywiecki, DSc.

Digitization. Precisely a month later 10 laureates of the competition,
including our graduates, started their first travel to China. In Beijing they
joined young researchers from Serbia and Romania. They will be back in Poland
on 1st September.
