16.06.2014 | Aktualizacja: 16.06.2014 10:21

Prof. Mirosław Kutyłowski (phot. Krzysztof Mazur)

The newly established National Centre for Cryptology invites for a lecture entitled “Cryptography – prospects and the present” that will be held at Wrocław University of Technology on 17th June.

The invitation is directed especially to students of electronics, computer science, and mathematics. The lecture will be run by Prof. Mirosław Kutyłowski from the Wrocław University of Technology Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology and employees of the National Centre for Cryptology in Warsaw.

The main task of the National Centre for Cryptology is to design, implement, and protect Polish cryptologic technologies. This should result in improving the country security thanks to the protection ensured by the country’s own cryptologic solutions. The Centre also works on prototypes of cryptographic tools – 120 researchers from the whole country are involved in the project, including Wrocław University of Technology employees.

The lecture will start on 17th June at 1 PM in the C-13 building (“the Cheese House”), room 2.17.
