Kuba Romańczuk, who performed a dynamic demonstration  of street dance, was chosen the Wrocław University of Technology’s best talent. On Thursday, at the Student Culture Zone, the finals of the “Talent Engineering” competition were held.

“This is yet another event that has grown into the landscape of the Student Culture Zone.” – said Zbigniew Sroka, PhD, DSc, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, who presided the competition jury. – “Thanks to the competition, we could watch beautiful demonstrations, dances, and listen to students with musical talents.”

17 persons took part in the finals. Guitar players, singers, and pianists were predominant but there were also demonstrations of juggling or card game tricks. Piotr Kwiatkowski, a conjurer, amazed the audience e.g. with his trick with a flying table. He took second place. Kalina Zych, who performed a modern dance improvisation, was awarded third place.

“A few hours earlier, a lecture on the capabilities of the Da Vinci robot was held as part of the ‘PoWeR of Production’ conference.” – said Vice-Rector Zbigniew Sroka. – “I think it would take the robot really long to acquire the skills that our students have demonstrated.”

The competition was organized by the Culture Committee of the Wrocław University of Technology Student Government.
