The “Polinka” cable car started operation on Tuesday at 9:30 AM and since then queues have been forming at its stations of people willing to travel in the cabin. In the queue you can find employees and students of Wrocław University of Technology, as well as citizens of Wrocław who want to try out the new means of transport. [PHOTOS]
“Polinka” operates on workdays between 7 AM and 9 PM and on weekends from 9 AM till 6 PM. Travelling by the cable car is free of charge until the end of the year. Starting from next year, the students and employees of Wrocław University of Technology will be still able to travel free upon presenting their student or employee ID. The remaining passengers will be able to travel with a valid Urbancard or after paying the equivalence of a one-way public transport ticket.
